Dear artists of the American Southwest and Northern Mexico. We have an open call for works to celebrate one of our favorite Arizona sky-islands, the Chiricahua Mtns. A special feature of this show is a 3-day gallery takeover by the Effie Anderson Smith Museum and Archive nonprofit organization @effieandersonsmith. They are graciously loaning us several original paintings by this important artist. Effie known as "The Dean of Arizona Women Artists" spent years between Pierce and Douglas, AZ painting desert vistas and teaching young women the art of painting. Home — Effie Anderson Smith
