Douglas China Poblanas take great pride in their community, heritage, and traditions. The participants range in age from two to twenty-one and are selected yearly in late August to early September. The categories are Toddler, Little, Teen, Junior, and Miss China Poblana. During their tenure, they volunteer in the community and bring awareness to their coveted heritage and traditions. Miss China Poblana receives a scholarship at the completion of her tenure. They conduct themselves with integrity and high moral standards. Each year they choose a local organization to fundraise for.
