The winter presentation of "The Muppets Christmas Carol" by DHS Drama Club will take place on these show dates: Monday, November 18, Tuesday, November 19, and Wednesday, November 20. Start time is 6:30 pm. Ticket prices are $4.00.
Our director is Jocelyn Morales, (12). The lead actors are Aynsli Andrade (Scrooge) (11), Sofia De La Vega (Narrator/Charles Dickens) (12), and Fernanda Grijalva (Kermit Cratchit) (10).
The synopsis is-It’s Christmas Eve, 1987, and the ruthless and festivity-hating Gonzo Scrooge is not having it. After an argument with his employees, Scrooge goes home only to be haunted by the spirit of his old business partner, Jacob Marley. Marley warns Gonzo that he will be visited by three different ghosts who will help him understand the true spirit of Christmas. Will Scrooge allow his stubborn mind to be changed about the holiday? Or will he continue to be the same grumpy man he’s always been? Bah humbug!
